The Bible and Christianity in the Scientific Perspective

Korean Christianity must now be reborn as a biblical, agape religion of love and life, away from the religion of "salvation" and self-love that seeks personal blessing. God is love (1 John 4:8). Jesus is the source of life. There is life in Jesus Christ (John 1:4), and Jesus is the "Word of life" (1 John 1:1). The core of the Christian faith is "faith alone" in God and Jesus Christ. True Christians must understand the Bible correctly, obey and believe in God, and live righteously and good according to the Bible and God's will. The life of Jesus Christ is the highest standard of life for people to imitate. Christians in Korea should live a life of action in practice according to God's word in the Bible at home and in society. They should love one another in deed and truth, not just in word or in tongue (1 John 3:18). Only when this agape-style life of God's love takes root in Korean society, a truly biblical Christian culture will be established in Korea. True Christians have freedom in the Lord Jesus Christ and live a life of faith in obedience to God and Jesus Christ, refusing to be servants of the world.
