It seeks to sum up the essence of the mothercraft advice given over the years through the pages of Woman’s Pictorial and Mother and Home, where some material had appeared previously. It is a comprehensive guide through a baby’s life from birth through the early years and today can be enjoyed as a historical look at parenting and child development in the 1950s.
