Sunset and Blizzard

Lent is a time of prayer and meditation about who we are in the eyes of God, and as such it brings more questions than answers. God is at reach, but with all the challenges imposed on us as we try to reach him it feels as if we are trying to move in the middle of a strong blizzard. When that is gone, we can calm down and focus on the sunset--there is hope in Christ. In this collection, every poem is a prayer, based either on a Bible verse, an image, an experience, even a dream, in a journey to spend more time with God and less time with us.
