The authors present the seven world views in such a way that one can compare and contrast these views. "It is our hope," they write, "that [readers] will carefully consider all the options and then decide, even if it means discarding the world view [they] now have." In this revised edition the authors have updated the text and bibliography, rewritten several sections, and included suggested readings for each world view.
