The Saudi Arabian Economy (1986) is a comprehensive analysis of the late-twentieth century Saudi Arabian economy. It examines the key oil sector, charts its development and assesses the dilemmas facing the sector. It goes on to explore the other sectors of the economy, showing the impact on these of the large investments made possible by oil wealth, and it considers the special problems of the economy caused by the preponderance of the oil sector.
