With a focus on the pertinent constitutional, political, economic, and social questions, it presents an overview of events which have influenced the evolution of federal and unitary tendencies.
The subject matter of this book also discusses the emergence of coalition governments, dominance of a single party, relationships between the different tiers of the government, fiscal and economic issues, and political actions of constitutional authorities.
