The chapters in this edited volume challenge the assumption that certain places are inhospitable to LGBTQ lives by examining the varied ways that expressions of same-sex sexualities manifest across contexts. They take us to spaces as varied as women-only exotic dance venues, dyke bar commemoration events, and queer-friendly college campuses.
