As well as all the major areas of surgery other topics covered include pre-operative assessment anaesthesia intensive care trauma surgical oncology and post-operative complications. Although aimed at candidates preparing for Papers 1 and 2 of the new MRCS AFRCS and American Board examinations others such as undergraduate medical students and GPs will also find the book valuable.
