First published in 1939, Marshal Pilsudski presents a comprehensive biographical history of Józef Klemens Piłsudski (1867-1935). He was a Polish statesman who served as the Chief of State (1918–1922) and first Marshal of Poland (from 1920). He was viewed as the father of the Second Polish Republic, which was re-established in 1918.
