Drawing on theoretical perspectives and extensive research, including data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, Black investigates the demographic, psychological, and sociological factors associated with marijuana use in later life, revealing intriguing trends, such as higher usage among older women and those with higher incomes. Additionally, the book draws on personal narratives, providing a rich qualitative analysis of Generation Jones’s motivations and experiences with marijuana.
