Written by a multi-disciplinary team from the Department of Ophthalmology at the National University Health System in Singapore, the 2nd Edition of Essentials of Ophthalmology: For Medical School and Beyond is a significantly improved version of the much appreciated first edition. The original purpose of this publication remains the same: to serve as a comprehensive reference book for medical undergraduates, residents, and family physicians, who are often the first line of eye care providers in the community.

The book is designed to cover all the Entrusted Professional Activities (EPAs) mandated by the Undergraduate Ophthalmology curriculum in Singapore.
