About the Author: Jerry Fields was born the third of four children to his parents, Bobbie and Frances Fields. Jerry was born in Wycoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Brooklyn, and went to elementary and high schools in Brooklyn, NY. His parents are from the south and moved to New York, and Jerry was born between them in the year 1959. They raised Jerry under their old fashioned Christian based values despite Jerry’s departure and divorce from those values. Jerry’s father worked for the New York City subway transit system until his retirement 33 years later. During the intermediary period of those working years and before his retirement, the father emigrated with his family to Queens, New York. Jerry is the third child between 2 brothers and 1 sister. Jerry Fields is also the father of 2 children.
