They also show that how we talk about the things we believe, including issues of controversy, is itself a witness to the gospel we profess. Their model for doing this is a recovery of the Wesleyan practice of Christian conferencing. In this second edition, the authors provide two new chapters that provide additional insights for this time of intense polarization in America. They call us to remember who we are as followers of Jesus Christ.
