The author confines himself to a discussion of certain of its fundamental problems and offers a critical account of the theories as to the nature of the social mind. This edition includes a new introduction and new material brought into the appendices, but the central themes remain valid and therefore unaltered. This book will be of interest to students of psychology and sociology.
