The chapters in this book analyze the relationship between core concepts of the common good and the work of American political philosopher John Rawls.
One of the main criticisms that has been made of Rawls is his supposed neglect of central aspects of collective life. The contributors to this book explore the possibility of a substantive and community-oriented interpretation of Rawls’s thought.
