Digital Transformation of Industrial Processes draws on more than ten years of research in digital industrial sciences conducted at the Arts et Métiers, one of the prestigious French engineering schools. This expertise has been further strengthened by the Plateforme 4.0, designed and deployed to experiment with innovative technologies and foundational methods in collaboration with industrial partners. The full scale experiments conducted have highlighted the multiscale and multidimensional complexity associated with technological interdependence, while revealing certain limitations and precautions that must be taken into account.
