It tells these stories to explore how the everyday offers glimpses into, lies close to, the profound and the intimate, and it tells these stories to trouble the politics of the everyday. Writing the Everyday is also about writing: it thinks, feels, breathes, aches, with writing, with what writing – ‘everyday inquiring’ – might offer.
