This book is intended to provide novel insights into the discipline of Human Systems Integration (HSI) and its application to the design of complex systems (including the notion of sociotechnical systems) within the transport industry. Covering diverse domains such as aviation, air traffic management, rail infrastructure and engineering, and unmanned road and aerial vehicles, among others, this title draws on contributions from a diverse group of human factors and engineering professionals with industry experience and additional contributions from subject matter experts in the different domains.
