Green nanotechnology is an emerging approach that provides ways based on green synthesis to create nanoscale structures. Over the past years, it has set a new generation for producing smart, eco-friendly, cost-effective, and safety-engineered nanomaterials/nanoparticles. This book summarizes cutting-edge approaches of green nanotechnology and their current applications in regulating plant stress responses and managing agricultural environments. This book covers most types of plant stressors, consisting of various biotic and abiotic factors, such as temperature, salinity, drought, heavy metals, pests, and pathogens. This book proposes promising strategies to enhance plant stress resilience based on green nanotechnology and, additionally, discusses and shares opinions on limitations and future directions when applying green nanotechnology in supporting sustainable agri-food systems.
