It compares production approaches in various countries as well as highlighting commonalities between all clothing industries, drawing a particular comparison between clothing industries in high-wage and low-wage areas. The contributors discuss issues such as clothing in high wage economies alongside case studies in Japan, Italy, Germany, Finland, the US and the UK.
